Cybersecurity for IT service companies: how to detect threats and retain clients

The maturity of security processes is defined not by the absence of incidents, but by a team’s ability to detect and contain them in time and apply the lessons learned to strengthen its defenses.

At an open expert session co-hosted by IT Dnipro Community and Protagonist, we explored cybersecurity as a continuous process in which technology, people, and operating procedures must work together.

Anton Hapieiev, CEO of Protagonist, and Dmytro Kravchuk, CTO of Protagonist, shared how to establish continuous threat monitoring, define clear incident response procedures, reduce the risk of recurrence, and demonstrate to clients that security processes are effective.

The session brought together many technical specialists, making the discussion especially practical. Participants actively asked questions, clarified details, and discussed real-world situations. This level of engagement once again highlighted the importance of data security for IT companies.
